Conference: Imagined Futures III

Following the success of the Imagined Futures II Conference in 2007, Imagined Futures III 2008 will be hosted on 25 and 26 September 2008 to discuss key focus areas within university HIV and AIDS programmes.

Themes to be addressed at the conference will include, but are not limited to:

  • University support programmes for HIV positive students
  • Knowledge creation on living with HIV on university campuses
  • Antiretroviral treatment and adherence on campus
  • Studying whilst having HIV positive family members, friends and partners
  • HIV stigma on campus

Who should attend?
Student leaders, peer educators, student volunteers, HIV and AIDS programme managers, researchers and academics.

It is suggested that both academics/practitioners and students attend the conference. Past ‘Imagined Futures’ conferences have proved to be ideal for inter-university networking.
