The Siyam'kela project, in partnership with the Health Policy Initiative, explores HIV and AIDS-related stigma to understand how such stigma and discrimination can be reduced through analysis and replicable interventions.
Siyam'kela has developed indicators of stigma, stigma interventions, a tool to measure the effectiveness of stigma interventions and a Stigma Resource Pack. The Siyam'kela project is a lead partner in the development of the National Department of Health's stigma framework and strategy.
