Themes to be addressed at the conference will include, but are not limited to:

Knowledge creation on living with HIV on university campuses

Antiretroviral treatment and adherence on campus

Studying whilst having HIV positive family members, friends and partners

HIV stigma on campus
Who should attend?
Student leaders, peer educators, student volunteers, HIV and AIDS programme managers, researchers and academics.
It is suggested that both academics/practitioners and students attend the conference. Past ‘Imagined Futures’ conferences have proved to be ideal for inter-university networking.
Conference outcomes
The conference seeks to create a platform for students and practitioners/programme managers to interact with each other in order to facilitate horizontal learning. The conference further seeks to:

Discuss the challenges face by HIV positive students

Assess whether current programmes are meeting the needs of HIV positive students

Find potential solutions to these challenges
-
Identify priorities for future research and programme development
Programme
A detailed conference programme will be circulated prior to the conference.

Abstracts
Abstracts can be submitted under the following themes:

Abstracts should be no longer than 300 words and should reach the organisers before or on 31 July 2008. Abstracts must be submitted in MS-Word and must be emailed to:
