Ray is a clinical psychologist who works part time for the CSA. Until recently she managed a sub-programme of the Future Leaders @ Work project, the Befriender (peer HIV counsellor) programme. Ray’s 2011 portfolio will be training resource manager and this will include auditing CSA training materials and skills, documenting and developing training materials, developing a training strategy for the CSA, developing guidelines on key issues for trainers and maintaining the quality of CSA training. Ray is also a researcher, trainer and materials developer for the CSA, has contributed to various literature reviews and is also a consultant on issues around HIV and children, in this capacity developing guideline documents for the National Department of Health. She will also work with Pierre Brouard on mental health issues.
